LAHORE: Singer Annie Khalid along with ten female students received injuries when the stage collapsed during a concert being held in Gujranwala, ARY News reported.
The singer was performing at a concert for a private college at the Jinnah Stadium in Gujranwala on Wednesday evening when the incident occurred.
A large number of female fans had climbed the stage to taking selfies with the singer when it collapsed due to overcrowding.
At least ten female students were injured in the incident. The singer also received bruises to her neck, but no further damage was made.
The Mahiya singer is on a concert tour across Punjab and is scheduled to perform in Faisalabad, Sialkot, Okara in February, and in Islamabad and other cities in March.
