Addressing a press conference here, he said a certain segment of society had held hostage the institutions and masses. Taking exception to the rulers, he said those at the helm of affairs consider themselves freed of any accountability.
He was of the view that JI was the only party that believed in real democracy.
The JI chief said measures should be taken to stamp out corruption and mis-governance issues from the country.
He said the rulers had not learnt any lesson from the past and continuing to repeat same mistakes that were plunging the country into crisis.
