Siraj holds women's role important for society

In his address with Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (RA) Seerat Conference on account of International Women’s Day, Sirajul Haq said that Syeda Zainab (RA) upheld the flag of righteousness and Islam, after the Battle of Karbala.

Her (RA) speech in the court of Yazid proved that Imam Hussain (RA) personifies truth and righteousness, he added.

The JI emir said that the women in Pakistan can play an important role in resolving the issues being faced by the country.

He praised women participation at the conference in large numbers despite bad weather and rains, adding that it is not just a positive sign but also an encouraging fact for the Pakistani nation.
