The airstrikes were carried out on hideouts of militants in Tirah Valley, killing six of them and injuring 10 others.
The military sources said operation Khyber-I and Khyber-II was going on with full force and several militants have been eliminated in the offensive so far.
The government has claimed that the people displaced in the wake of operation would soon be brought back into their native areas and efforts were underway for their rehabilitation.
