The two young actresses were the star performers at a recent awards gala and seem to have chatted up backstage in between their performances.
Alia posted a picture of the two on Twitter recently and the caption said “Me and my fav Parineeti Chopra(sic)”.
For those coming in late, Alia had commented on Parineeti Chopra’s dress sense and how she needed to improve on an episode of ‘Koffee With Karan’.
But the very sporting Parineeti took the comment in her stride and had said she would take Alia’s advice in fashion.
The two actresses even appeared together on one episode of the chat show later.
