Sonam Kapoor is not ashamed to reveal her age

A  couple of days ago she graced the cover of the renowned fashion magazine Harper’s Bazaar dressing in a bridal dress with Mira Zwillinger gown and floral headgear by Tami Bar-Lev and  earrings by Kalyan Jewellers.

As part of her birthday resolution, she has also promised to turn vegan. Sonam who has shown support for various animal rights campaign will make her stance more clear this year by taking a practical approach.

Today, she celebrated the day with her best friends. The rather exciting looking Sonam was seen partying throughout the night.

Now Sonam has said that she is not ashamed to reveal her age.

‘I am 31 and I say it. I don’t have any shame in revealing my age,’ Sonam told the media on her birthday.

The Neerja actress also said that she had ‘rocking year’. She was not only praised for her brilliant performance in the film, but also shot to the international spotlight with her appearance at the renowned Cannes Film Festival.

‘Every year is a rocking year for me and every year is getting better. I never consider anything good or bad. I like to live in the moment.’

The reason why Sonam delayed her birthday celebration is because she had a working birthday, and she considers working on a birthday or new year as an auspicious day.

She who is known in the media for her outspoken personality said her fans for their support bestowed on her.

‘Thank you for being supportive and being there for me. I hope people enjoy my work. Do good for people and do good to the world.’

Now there has been no news what Sonam will be working on next and what her upcoming project will be. But Sonam has assured her fans that it would announced in few days.

She is currently waiting for her father, Anil Kapoor’s film 24 which is a remake of a television series of the same name to be released.

Her brother Harshvardhan is also currently working on his debut film, Mirzya, which also stars Saiyami Kher and is directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra  who is famous for films such as Rang de Basanti and Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. 

It is rumoured that Sonam has signed a chic-flick with Kareena Kapoor.
