Bollywood star Shah Rukh who is also known as King Khan did not make it to this year’s Filmfare Awards’ best actor nominations, on commenting on it the actor said he did do the best acting in Happy New Year and he does not deserve award nomination for that.
The 49-year-old-actor whose only release last year, Happy New Year, was termed a blockbuster, was stormed by media queries on him being amiss from the Filmfare Awards’ nomination SRK said, “ I haven’t acted well enough. I don’t think I should be nominated. I did one film last year and since I have hosted two shows I know there are seven others or rather seventy other people who are better than me. I cannot be nominated for acting for Happy New Year. Yes, the film has done very well but as an actor I don’t think I deserve to be nominated.”
The Best Actor in the leading Role nominations of Filmfare Awards’ 2015 include Hrithik Roshan for Bang Bang, Shahid Kapoor for Haider, Aamir Khan for PK, Akshay Kumar for Holiday and Randeep Hooda for Rang Rasiya. SRK who has not been seen in Filmfare Awards for years, neither he has received any filmfare award nor he has performed in any over the years, has no qualms in saying that he thinks he shouldn’t be nominated for Happy New Year.
