KARACHI: Unknown persons attacked a stage actress at her house in Karachi, ARY News reported on Wednesday.
According to details, unidentified people entered in the house of a stage actress Sanam Abbasi in Shanti Nagar area of Gulshan-e-Iqbal and subjected her to severe torture.
A case of the incident has been filed at Aziz Bhatti Police Station against unknown attackers .
Police has arrested a suspect, whereas raids are being carried out for the arrest of the other attackers.
Armed assailants in another similar incident in Lahore had opened fire at a vehicle being traveled by stage actress Kismat Baig with her secretary on 23rd November, last year, while on her way back to home.
She sustained serious injuries in the incident and was taken to Services Hospital Lahore for medical attendance. Kismat Baig succumbed to her injuries the next day of the incident.
