SUKKUR: At least four persons were injured in a bomb blast near the passing vehicle of Chinese engineers at National Highway here, ARY News reported.
The bomb device went off near the petrol pump at National Highway near Sukkur when the vehicle carrying Chinese engineers working at the Rohri-Multan section of the motorway.
Contingents of police and rangers, after the blast, reached to the spot and cordoned off the area.
The law enforcement agencies have launched a search operation to trace the miscreants involved in the incident.
Ambulances reached to the spot and transferred four injured to hospital.
The bomb device was planted in the rare section of a bicycle and terrorists detonated the device with remote control when the vehicle carrying Chinese engineers passed through the petrol pump, DSP Sukkur Police has said.
