Watan Party chief Barrister Zafarullah in his petition to the apex court claimed that over 100,000 unregistered non-government organizations (NGOs) were functioning in the country causing unstability in Pakistan.
The petition claimed that the unregistered NGOs posing serious threat to the solidarity of the country. It also said that terrorism and chaos being promoted in the country with the help of these NGOs.
The petitioner seeks the court to order the government for imposition of immediate ban on the unregistered NGOs and ceasing their bank accounts.
