DUBAI/RIYADH: The death toll from last month's Hajj stampede has risen to at least 1,791, according to tallies given by foreign officials, making it the deadliest incident in the pilgrimage's history.
MINA/RIYADH/ISLAMABAD: As the Government of Pakistan announced Rs 5 lac compensation for the families of Pakistani pilgrims who died in Mina stampede and Rs 2 lac for the injured, the death toll of Pakistanis in the tragedy has risen to 100 while over two dozen nationals are still missing, ARY News reported.
