A delegation from the United States (US), headed by Central Command (CENTCOM) Commander General Kenneth McKenzie called on Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa at General Headquarters on Sunday, said Inter-Services Public Relations(ISPR).

Matters of mutual interest, defence, regional security, Pakistan-India tension and other issues were came under discussion during the meeting, said Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

Keeping in view the rising tension between Pakistan and India, the Punjab government on Wednesday declared state of emergency in all hospital across the province.

Council on Foreign Relations said that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government conducted the attack inside Pakistan to get political mileage.
