Talks aside; PM’s resignation a must, says Imran Khan

TOP NEWS

Addressing a charged-up crowd at the PTI sit-in, Imran Khan said, “I have spent 29 days here in the container and I can stay for another 29 days, but would not move away without the resignation of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif”.

He said that he does not have a personal enmity with the PM Nawaz, his struggle is against the Nawaz-mindset.

The PTI chief said everyone will have to make efforts for transforming the country into Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s Pakistan.

Speaking about bad governance, he said that the government did not take precautionary measures, despite the fact that it was informed about possible flood in the country on August 8.

Addressing the people of Pakistan, Imran Khan said people have to snatch away their rights, adding that the Pakistanis in Britain were not given their due rights, which eventually led to their unification and then they led a campaign for their just rights. He said today the Pakistanis have more rights in the United Kingdom (UK), then in their own country.

He said that the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) rigged the polls and where its candidate lost the elections, there it conspired for re-elections in the constituency.

Elaborating the injustice done to the people, Khan referred to the Model Town incident, saying that the government registered a case against PAT, which was already suffering from the killing of its 14 workers. He said wherever the people stood up for their rights, tyranny and injustice was ended there.

Imran Khan once again demanded Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to step down from his post, until the investigations of the charges leveled on him.
