ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar on Friday expressed the confidence that the measures announced in the budget will enhance the welfare and prosperity of the general public.
“The tax measures proposed in the budget for the next fiscal year will enable Pakistan to achieve higher, sustainable economic growth,” he said while presiding over a meeting in Islamabad.
He said that the government will welcome all constructive and positive suggestions regarding the budget from parliamentarians during the ongoing budget session in parliament.
The minister urged Federal Board of Revenue to take all necessary measures to meet the tax collection target for the current financial year.
