The court reserved its verdict over the bail plea of former prime minister Yousaf Raza Gillani till November 19, who was present in the hearing.

The prosecution has charged against former prime minister Yousaf Raza Gilani and former trade minister Amin Fahim that several billion rupees were transferred into accounts by forming fake companies and the Trade and Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) was made to suffer losses of billion of rupees through subsidies from the government.

The FIA had booked PPP leaders Gilani and Makhdoom Amin Fahim as well as some TDAP officials for their alleged involvement in the approval and disbursement of fraudulent trade subsidies worth billions of rupees to several fake companies through fictitious claims and backdated cheques during the previous tenure of the PPP government.

The court issued warrants against Makhdoom Amin Fahim for his absence in the hearing of the case.

Yousaf Raza Gillani after the court hearing talking to media said that the governments could not be run with booking the opponents in cases.
