MUMBAI: Legendery Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar wind up his international cricket career at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium on Saturday.
“It’s hard to believe my wonderful journey is coming to an end,” said Tendulkar to the cricket lovers who paid an emotional farewel to him, as India beat West Indies by an innings and 125 runs in Mumbai.
Tendulkar in his 24 years long cricket career played 200 test matches with lots of records, which will likely to remain unbeaten for a long time.
Legendry Tendulkar ended with a total of 34357 runs in international cricket and 15921 runs in Tests.
Tendulkar in his last Test innings returned to the pavilion scoring 74 runs. In his illustrated career of 24 years the Little Master inspired Indian cricket after making his Test debut against Pakistan on November 15, 1989.
Cricket fans in Wankhede Stadium rose on their feet and chanted his name as Sachin walked back to the pavilion last time amid guard of honour of his colleagues.
