Terrorists also opened fire on houses adjacent to university hostel

PESHAWAR:  It has emerged that the terrorists, who stormed Agriculture Training Institute in Peshawar on Friday leaving nine martyred and 25 others injured, also opened fire on the houses adjacent to the university.

In the video footage you can see bullet-riddled walls of the houses, next to hostel of the varsity, which are populated by families.

According to police, three terrorists broke into the premises of the institute and opened indiscriminate fire. Soon after receiving the report, police, Army, and Rapid Response Force personnel entered the premises and engaged the terrorists.

The security forces killed all the terrorists and recovered a huge quantity of arms and ammunition from the building.

The university is closed till further orders, meanwhile some students are busy in looking after the injured in the hospital.

Several injured have been discharged from hospital, while many others are still being treated.

Talking to ARY News, one student said, while terrorists had taken control of the university, he wrote on a paper chart seeking help from Army and security forces and threw it out of the wall.
