Home Department Sindh Crime Monitoring Cell has forwarded a report to law enforcement departments, a report based on secret sources, via a letter.
In the letter it was stated that terrorists could avenge the hanging of four militants involved in the Army Public School attack. Government and semi-government schools were also on terrorists’ hitlist, the letter warned.
The letter also said that more protection should be provided to school buses and vans. Banned outfits planned to attack schools collectively. The letter also urged law enforcement departments to take stringent security measures.
Authorities have notified schools regarding the letter and its warning.
