Terrorists planned to paralyse aviation of Pakistan; report sent to PM

KARACHI: The initial report of Karachi airport attack has been sent to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, which reveals that terrorists had planned to destroy all air-crafts and paralyze aviation system of the country, ARY News reported Monday.

The report says that terrorists stormed the airport from two different points to destroy all stationary aircrafts in the hangar.

Report states that courage and gallantry by Airport Security Force (ASF) prevented terrorists from damaging sensitive facilities and their movement towards Quaid-e-Azam Terminal.

Rangers, police, FC and army assisted the ASF in mowing down terrorists, added the report.

On the other hand, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has called important meeting on law and order to discuss post-airport attack situation in the city.

According to chief secretary Sindh, the CM has cancelled leaves of all the employees concerned and directed them to adopt all-out measures to ensure strict security across the city and province.
