FAISALABAD: Renowned Pakistani Atomic Scientist, Dr Samar Mubarek Mand has said that the Thar Coal Power Project is being delayed for the issuance of only 20 percent funds over a period of 3 and a half years – ARY News reports.
He said on Thursday that after the issuance of all of the funds the project will be accomplished and it could generate some 50,000 megawatts of electricity monthly for a span of almost 500 years.
Mand further said that besides the generation of such an enormous amount of electricity, the project will also produce 1 lac barrel of diesel.
