‘They Will Kill You’ trailer is so bloody you need to sign in

Warner Bros. has released the new red-band trailer for They Will Kill You, and it promises a wild, gore-filled ride. The film stars Zazie Beetz, best known as Domino in Deadpool 2, in a thriller that mixes horror and dark comedy.

Zazie Beetz plays a housekeeper who lands a seemingly perfect job at the ultra-exclusive Virgil Hotel. But it quickly turns into a nightmare.

In the movie, the hotel is actually run by a satanic cult, and Deadpool 2 star’s character has been chosen as the next monthly sacrifice.

The They Will Kill You trailer shows just how brutal this place really is, wardrobes become death traps, hallways turn into war zones, and every room hides a new threat.

Star-Studded Cast of They Will Kill You

The supporting cast of They Will Kill You is stacked with familiar names. Myha’la, from Bodies Bodies Bodies, is knocked out in a darkly funny moment, while Tom Felton, back in villain mode, leads a search party through the hotel with disastrous results.

Patricia Arquette, known for Severance, plays the hotel boss, initially welcoming Beetz before commanding the staff to hunt her down.

They Will Kill You is the first project from Skydance’s new horror label, Nocturna, with Warner Bros. handling the theatrical release. Producers Andy and Barbara Muschietti, behind the IT films, are involved, adding serious credibility to the horror and dark humor mix.

They Will Kill You trailer features tight, stylized gun-fu and long, fluid takes following the fights through hotel corridors and lavish rooms. The choreography comes from Russ McCarroll, who worked on Mad Max: Fury Road and Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, which explains why the sequences look sharper than your average horror-thriller.

Directed by Kirill Sokolov, who previously made Why Don’t You Just Die?, the film pushes the energy even further. They Will Kill You trailer teases flaming axes, people flying across rooms, and shocking acts of violence.
