‘This country is mine, and so is its army,’ says Imran Khan

Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has said that some people want him to clash with the Pakistan Army. ‘The country is mine, and so is its army,’ said Imran Khan, ARY News reported.

In an interview with a private news channel, the PTI Chief said that he only wants strong institutions that are run on merit. Strong institutions mean a strong country, he added.

He added that he is going to Rawalpindi for the nation and the nation stands with him. The Rawalpindi protest would be the biggest gathering in history, the nation has risen, he added.

He added that he never thought about appointing his favourite Army Chief. The only thing he wanted was to do the appointment on merit, he added.

The PTI Chief added that if the government is not ready for elections then there is no pointing talking to them. The only way to stabilize the country is a fresh election, he added.

Imran Khan said that there are good and bad people in every institution.

The former premier said that the PDM government has done nothing but trash cases against them in the past 7 months.
