Threats persist until supremacy of constitution isn't accepted: Rabbani

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) member, Senator Raza Rabbani has said that threats do persist until the supremacy of the constitution is not accepted, Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif and former President, Asif Ali Zardari discussed all the national issues during their meeting on Wednesday – ARY News reports.
Senator Raza Rabbani said that the survival of Pakistan rests in democracy and all the political forces will stand united in difficult times.
Speaking about Government's negotiations with Taliban, he said that there is difference of opinion on this issue, whilst he also elaborated PPP's stance on Musharraf's trial.
Moreover, Rabbani stated that the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was informed about the reservations of PPP and all other parties regarding the Pakistan Protection Ordinance (PPO).
