Three militants killed in FC operation in Turbat

TURBAT: Three militants were killed in Bal Negor area of Turbat district when Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan conducted an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) at early hours of Friday morning, ARY News reported.

According to the paramilitary force sources, the slain militants were planning to carry out a terror plot.

The paramilitary force also seized a huge cache of arms and ammunition including hand grenades and SMGs from possession of the slain militants.

However, several of their accomplices managed to escape during the gun battle. The FC personnel have initiated subsequent search operations in the area to apprehend other culprits.

No further details pertaining to identification and affiliation of the militants were shared by the paramilitary force.
