GUJRANWALA: Three people were killed and two others were injured when a high roof crashed into a truck in Gujranwala, ARY News reported on Saturday.
A high-roof collided with a truck near Kamonki Toll Plaza due to poor visibility conditions, resulting in the death of 33-year old Nazar Mustafa, 45-year old Kishwar and three-year child Zainab.
Two persons identified as Imran 40, and Farrukh 25, sustained serious injuries in the accident.
Rescue teams arrived at the scene of accident and shifted the victims to Civil Hospital Gujranwala for treatment.
Sources said that the deceased persons were members of same family. They said that the mishap took place due to poor visibility in the area caused by misty conditions.
Police has started investigation of the road crash incident.
