LAHORE: Three people were killed on Saturday after unidentified motorcyclists opened fire near the Minar-e-Pakistan monument, ARY News reported.
According to police, the dead includes two brothers identified as Rana Ayub and Rana Shakur. A passerby named Muhammad Naeem was also killed in the gunfire.
A roadside vendor named Muhammad Amir was also injured in the gunfire, and has been admitted to hospital. The assailants managed to flee from the scene of the incident. Police said that efforts are being made for their arrest.
Police said that the two brothers were killed over personal enmity as they had a property dispute and were going to the court. Their bodies have been shifted to a morgue for postmortem procedures.
