After months of hiatus, sectarian terrorism once again showed its grim face in the megapolis as unknown assailants opened fire at a vehicle near Shafique More.

As a consequence, three people, who were returning after offering Friday prayers, were wounded seriously and rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.

However, none of them could overcome the deadly wounds and were pronounced dead at the hospital.

Police said the incident seems to be ‘sectarian-motivated’. The cops prepared the sketch of the suspected attacker and issues to media.

Meanwhile, the weapon, after forensic examination of bullet shells found from the site, was traced back to the killing of Advocate Ameer Ali Shah in August, last year.
