Most Facebook games are insanely addictive, but not because they’re super graphical; it’s the ability to connect with all your Facebook friends that makes them so interesting.

Here are Top Five Facebook Games of This Year.

Dragon-City

5. Dragon City

Dragon City allows players to create their own wonder world – made up of dragons, of course. You can breed dragons and combine them to obtain maximum power and special abilities. Once you establish yourself as a Dragon Master, you can fight with other players – from your Facebook friend list of course, but not exclusively.

You can also find Dragon City on iOS and Android. New dragons await to be discovered every week, so it’s literally impossible to get bored playing Dragon City.

Angry

4. Angry Birds Friends

Angry Birds Friends is the 6th game of the Angry Birds series, and it used to be a Facebook exclusive back in 2012. Featuring amazing power-ups and challenging levels, Friends is still a revolutionary game that might create addiction.

Just like most Facebook games, playing this one is free. Challenge your Facebook friends and play together, participate in weekly tournaments, gather daily prizes and brag about your high score and accomplishments.

Farm-Heroes

3. Farm Heroes Saga

The creator of Candy Crush Saga, King.com, is on fire. Farm Heroes Saga is yet another Facebook game to have over 50 million players. The match-3 puzzler can also be played on Android and iOS, and the gameplay formula is similar to Candy Crush.

Your job is to match 3 or more collectable cropsies. Beat Rancid the Raccoon by joining forces with the Farm Heroes, and head over to the Farm Club to buy boosters and surpass levels faster. Ask for lives from friends and reward them with lucky beans.

Candy-Crush

2. Candy Crush Saga

Candy Crush Saga is, by far, one of the most popular games on Facebook. Released in 2012, it still manages to entice social gamers. As of 2013, over 500 million people have played Candy Crush Saga at least once on Facebook, Android, and iOS. And yes, there’s also an app for the game that you can download on your smart device.

The rules are simple: you have to switch candies to match at least three of the same type. With over 590 levels, the creators of Candy Crush Saga are constantly updating and expanding the game to keep gamers interested.

CC

1. Criminal Case

Criminal Case is a detective-themed Facebook game with over 10 million players. In 2013 it defeated Candy Crush Saga in the battle for “Facebook Game of the Year”. The gameplay is simple and addictive. Your job is to investigate crimes, find clues and lock down the bad guys.

To break up the routine and give players the chance to have the best time while playing Criminal Case, the creators also added a few twists you’ll certainly enjoy. Why do we love it so much? Because it’s such an ingenious Facebook game.
