According to SSP Asad Sarfaraz, Dr. Ali Raza and his employee were targeted by unknown men as they were closing their shop.
The doctor was rushed to a hospital where his condition is said to be critical. The hospital staff stated that he received six bullets.
Sources said that the victim was receiving extortion threats for more than two months and had filed a case against it in Garden Town Police Station of Lahore.
