Turkish FM calls on PM Nawaz

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sahrif has said that Pakistan places strong emphasis on friendly relations with Turkey, ARY News reported.

Foreign Minister of Turkey, Ahmet Davutoglo met PM Nawaz Sharif at Prime Minster House on Thursday to review bilateral relations between the two countries.

On the occasion Nawaz Sharif vowed to make all possible efforts to double country’s trade with Turkey by saying that “We encourage investment by Turkish businessmen in Pakistan. We have stable democracy, vibrant judiciary and proactive media to protect foreign investment.”

He said that both the countries acquire same vision in international and regional politics.

Meanwhile, Turkish Foreign Minister, Ahmet Davutoglo said that Turkey would provide all out support in international relations to Pakistan, a brotherly country, that was a rising economic power and country of future.

He praised the economic growth of Pakistan and said that in order to strengthen economic ties with Pakistan Prime Minister of Turkey, Tayyip Erdogan would visit Pakistan along with a large group of businessmen.
