Two arrested for conducting 'recce' of Karachi jail

According to sources, both the suspects belonged to a banned terror outfit.
The forces arrested the two men after a tip-off given by an intelligence agency. The two suspects have been shifted to an undisclosed location for interrogation.

Following the arrest, Rangers conducted a search operation in the staff colony inside the jail.
Karachi Central Jail has been facing jailbreak threats from terrorists for a year. In view of such growing threats, security is tightened around the jail and mobile phone jammers have also been installed, which nearby people living in residential colonies frequently complain about.
