According to police sources, four dacoits were busy snatching valuables from residents of Patni Mohalla in Baldia neighborhood of the city on Sunday, it was then that the citizens got somehow hold of them.
Angry citizens subjected all the four robbers to severe torture, due to which two of the snatchers were killed, while the other two were handed over to the cops in injured condition.
The dead bodies of the slain robbers were shifted to Civil Hospital for further formalities.
Police also claimed to seize looted goods and arms from the arrested dacoits and they are being further interrogated.
