Two killed, 45 wounded as bus falls from bridge in Taxila

TAXILA: Two people were killed whereas 45 persons including women and children were wounded when a passenger bus fell from a bridge here in Taxila on Saturday, ARY News reports. 

The unfortunate incident took place in the Hataar Road as it was arriving here from Haripur. The accident was caused due to over-speeding.

Rescue teams arrived at the spot and shifted the wounded people to Civil Hospital Taxila and nearby hospitals with the help of the locals.

The medical condition of several injured is said to be crtitical. 

More than 57 people, including women and children, were travelling in the bus when the incident took place.
