RAWALPINDI: At least two military officers and three civilians were killed in a bomb attack over a vehicle of security forces at Fateh Jang crossing here, ARY News reports.

The incident took place on Wednesday when a suicide bomber hit a twin cabin vehicle on Fateh Jang road near Rawalpindi. The incident seems to be a suicide attack, security sources said.

In deadly attack two Lt. Colonels and three civilians were killed, military sources said. Lt. Colonel Arshad and Zahir Shah lost their lives in the attack, ISPR said in its statement.

Security forces have cordoned off the area and initiated investigation of the incident.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has condemned the terrorist attack.
