Umar, Shahzad dropped from team camp for England tour

Pakistan chief selector announced the names of 35 probable players for the camp of England tour. Firebrand allrounder Shahid Khan Afridi will also not be part of the camp as he has been given ‘rest’, Inzamam said. Fast bowlers Muhammed Sami and Muhammad Irfan have also been dropped from the list of the players for the camp.

Afridi responded the decision of the selection committee through tweets: “(I) appreciate the approach by selection committee. (I am) happy that youngsters are getting a chance.”

Inzamam-ul-Haq, a former captain and Pakistan’s batting great, also conditioned the inclusion of Muhammad Hafeez and Haris Sohail in 35 probables with their fitness. He also advised former captain Salman Butt to play four-day domestic cricket matches.

He warned players over discipline and said the Pakistan Cricket Board could guide them if the need be.

Inzamam also vowed, he would never give undue favor to anybody neither would do injustice.

He also announced a new policy that no player above the age of 30 would be included in Team A.

First Order Batsmen: Muhammed Hafeez, Sami Aslam, Iftikhar Ahmed, Azhar Ali, Sharjeel Khan, Khurram Manzoor, Shan Masood, Younis Khan, Misbah ul Haq, Asad Shafiq, Shoaib Malik, Babar Azam, Haris Sohail,

Middle Order Batsmen: Khalid Latif, Fawad Alam, Akbar Rehman and Asif Zakir.

All-Rounder: Anwar Ali and Bilawal Bhatti

Fast Bowlers: Muhammed Amir, Rahat Ali, Imran Khan, Sohail Khan, Wahab Riaz, Junaid Khan and Hassan Ali

Wicket Keepers: Sarfraz Ahmed, Muhammed Rizwan and Adnan Akmal

Spinners: Yasir Shah, Zulfiqar Babar, Muhammed Asghar, Imad Waseem, Bilal Asif and Zohaib Khan
