KARACHI: A truck full of unidentified women on Wednesday arrived at the Darul Sehat hospital to support the hospital management and staff against the protest carried out by citizens, ARY News reported.

The women, when asked by media, could not clearly state the motive behind their arrival at the medical facility. Some of them said they were hospital staff, while others said they were there to attend a Milad event. Some were holding placards.

Sources said the hospital management had called the women for their support. This all happened when the government officials had arrived to seal OPD facility of the hospital. It created tension between the opponent parties on this occasion.

However, upon realising that they were being given extra coverage by the media, the women (about 40-50) left in rickshaws.

Citizens raised slogans against the hospital demanding its closure.
