ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb on Friday said universities needed to design programmes for promotion of the vision of founding father Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

“The founding father waged a democratic struggle for creation of Pakistan and being a Pakistani we should always remember that movement,” she said while addressing a function in Islamabad on Friday in connection with week-long celebrations being marked on the eve of birth anniversary of the Quaid-e-Azam.

Marriyum Aurangzeb said the Quaid-e-Azam gave the message of unity, faith and discipline to confront all the challenges.

She said the speeches and messages of the Quaid-e-Azam have relevance for every community; be they the youth, entrepreneurs or the minorities. She said actually Pakistan was created for the protection of the rights of minorities in the sub-continent.
