US Special Envoy calls on COAS Raheel Sharif, Chaudhry Nisar

During his meeting with the Army Chief, General Raheel Sharif, Mr. Dan Feldman said that the United States (US) holds Pakistan’s sacrifices in the War on Terror in high esteem.

The ISPR, military’s public relations wing, said that during the meeting both the personalities discussed the overall regional situation including that of Afghanistan’s.

Meanwhile, a US delegation headed by Mr. Feldman also met the Interior Minister, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan.

During the meeting, Nisar told the delegates that both Pakistan and the United States are striving to have cordial ties despite of difficult circumstances.

He urged the US to cease drone attacks on permanent basis, in order to prevent Pak-US ties from being affected.
