VIDEO: This book can only be read if you burn it

An institute for fine art and design in Holland has come up with an innovative yet experimental edition of Ray Bradbury’s Fahrenheit 451, which can only be read once you nearly burn it.

The Jan van Eyck Academie has released an experimental edition of Ray Bradbury’s Fahrenheit 451.

The ingenuous idea was formulated by a French graphic firm Super Terrain and the video was shared by The Jan van Eyck Academie.

The pages of the book are completely black till you bring heat close to the paper. The sooty layer then disappears revealing the printed text underneath.

The institute shared a video about it on Instagram and shared in comments that they are working on a plan to market this special heat edition.
