A Karachi traffic policeman was attacked by pushcart mafia in the city’s Saddar area, when he tried to remove the encroachment, ARY News reported on Wednesday.
In Saddar, Karachi, a traffic police officer was subjected to a brutal attack by operatives of pushcart mafia.

The incident, which occurred on Sunday at Tanga Stand on Mubarak Shaheed Road, caused a severe traffic jam as stones blocked the roadway.
According to reports, Assistant Sub-Inspector Hafeez had arrived at the scene to remove the obstructing stones when two rickshaw pullers attacked him. The officer was reportedly assaulted in front of the public. One of the assailants pushed ASI Hafeez to the ground, while the other managed to flee the scene.
Authorities confirmed that one of the attackers has been arrested, and a case has been registered at Saddar police station.
Earlier, a policeman was robbed at gunpoint while returning to his home after completing his duty in Karachi’s Steel Town.
As per details, Saeed Ahmed, a cop deputed at Steel Town Police Station, was robbed by armed criminals in Karachi.
The incident occurred in the jurisdiction of Shah Latif Town while the officer was returning home after duty. A case was registered at Shah Latif Police Station against four unidentified suspects.
According to the FIR, the complainant stated that he and his cousin were robbed near Sukhan River by four armed men who took their motorcycle and mobile phones before subjecting them to physical assault.
