MUMBAI: Bollywood actress Vidya Balan who is busy promoting her next Tumhari Sulu, suffered a minor accident when she was on her way to Bandra.
The actor’s car was hit by another car but she escaped unhurt.
It was only her car which was damaged. According to Hindustan Times, “Vidya Balan’s car met with an accident 3 days ago. However, she is fine and has not sustained any injuries. It was a minor accident that led to slight car damage and thankfully no one is injured.” A comment from Vidya and her team on the accident is awaited.
However, Vidya has recently been appointed as a member of CBFC and she also has the release of her movie, Tumhari Sulu coming closer. Vidya who has always been vocal about the issue of censorship of movies, earlier, talked about her accepting the proposal of being a member of CBFC.
She said, “I thought if I don’t say yes to this, I’d lose the right to criticise any decision ever taken by the CBFC. I thought I was ready to shoulder the responsibility.”
On Thursday, Vidya shared a photo of herself on the occasion of Ashtami and wrote, “Mirror mirror on the wall, Durga, Kali or them all??!! ” On the onset of Navratri too, Vidya wished her many followers as she wrote, “Lets honour & celebrate the Goddess in & around us,starting today … Happy Navratri all .. Lets open our hearts and souls to receiving & abundance !!.”
