MOSCOW: A swimmer at a lake in Belokurikha, southern Russia, was left shocked when two swans attacked him all of a sudden.
As seen in the footage, the man was enjoying a leisurely dip in the town of Belokurikha when one of the swans glided towards him at a furious pace.
In a few moments, another swan rushed in before they both started aggressively pecking at the swimmer and flapping their wings at him.
The swimmer tried to duck under water in an attempt to escape the swans, as the person filming shouts in the background. According to reports, the man was not injured during the incident.
Swans are known to be aggressive when defending their nests, particularly in the springtime.
