Wagah: Nation's morale unshaken despite attacks

According to details, a large number of people gathered at the Pakistan-India border crossing at Wagah to witness the parade ceremony on Tuesday and to pay a tribute to the armed forces of Pakistan, which are currently at war with both external as well as internal enemy.

The Corps Commander Lahore and the DG Punjab Rangers together with their families, higher officials and scores of citizens including women and children arrived at the parade ceremony to salute these brave sons of soil.

On this occasion, the Corps Commander Lahore, Lieutenant General Naveed Zaman said that no one can speculate from the expressions at the faces of personnel and general public that this nation faced 60 martyrdoms here a couple of days ago.

After observing the parade, people returned to their homes chanting ‘Pakistan Zindabad’, all surrounded by the Rangers personnel.

The Corps Commander Lahore praised the Rangers Guard who participated in the parade and also announced Rs 5 lac prize for them.

On the other hand, the United States (US) has also condemned the Sunday’s attack at Wagah border and extended its sympathies with the families of the victims.
