As the battle for justice and the fight taken up by Mannat enters its 16th phase, ARY Digital’s hugely popular play ‘Cheekh’ gets a new twist.

As the court starts hearing the case pertaining to Nayab’s (played by Ushna Shah) murder, Wajih (played by Bilal Abbas Khan), with full backing from his lawyer (played by Shabbir Jan) drops a bombshell that even upsets his eldest brother Yawar (played by Aijaz Aslam).

The rape attempt/murder culprit goes live on social media and records a video accusing one of the two main complainants in Nayab case, Mannat, of seducing her and then after being rejected, accusing him of murdering Nayab.

The shameless murderer not only did this without showing any signs of remorse or even thinking about how it will effect his brother Shayan (played by Emmad Irfani) or Yawar, who always cares about his “family’s honour”.

The accusations came at a time when Shayan and Mannat had just returned from court and the loving husband was showing her their new nest.

Yawar, on the other hand, listens to all this on his way to his house but then returns to his lawyer’s residence only to find Wajih being lauded by the lawyer.

“Case jeetney kay liye saamne wale ka hausla torna parta hai or aurat ka hosla torne k liye uske kirdar pr chand chintay hi kaafi hote hein,” says Shabbir Jan’s character.

The audiences are now eagerly waiting for the next episode and the curiosity is all-time high as to what step will Mannat take considering the price she might have to pay for trying to get justice for her late friend.
