In the 1996 DNC, many of Democratic figures, officials and supporters including than first lady Hillary Clinton and Vice-President Al-Gore danced to the tune of highly popular Macarena.

It is mentioned here that incumbent Bill Clinton was nominated as the party’s candidate second time for the presidential polls in the convention after completing his first tenure.
