“We are not in favour of disrupting flight operations but the situation became such that we had no choice. A three-day mourning period has already happened and we cannot have flight operations suspended indefinitely. Many of our pilots are ready to resume operations immediately,” he told ARY News.
The PALPA chief also said that his members had received death threats preventing them from resuming operations. “I have proof of this,” he said.
