Islamabad: Federal government in the current year has set a target of half crore ton for the production of wheat. ARY News reported.
Target of wheat production was set in the meeting chaired by Federal Secretary of National Food Security and Research Seerat Asghar in Islamabad. In the meeting representatives of irrigation and agriculture ministry’s from all four provinces were present. In the meeting it was highlighted that during the Rabi season this year more rain is expected, due which there would be no shortage of water.
