KARACHI: A woman on Monday approached Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) against a Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) official for allegedly harassing her in order to refrain from razing her house during the Gujjar Nullah demolition drive, ARY NEWS reported.

In an application submitted to the cybercrime wing of the FIA, the woman said that she would commit suicide rather than compromising on her dignity.

“My house came under Gujjar Nullah cutting and was demolished,” she said adding that she had approached a KMC official to stop the demolition of her house, who in return demanded bribe and later harassed her.

The woman said that she took a loan of Rs25,000 and gave it to the KMC official. “The official demanded further money and offered to forgo the money in return for establishing an illicit relationship with him,” she claimed.
