According to a foreign news agency, Sergeant Erica Hay bought some food and a cup of coffee for the homeless man and the two ate it together.
A passerby identified as Tianna Greene was taking pictures of the incident. She added that the police officer was feeling very happy with it.
The cop said that they were not a large community and she mostly knows everybody, especially the homeless, but didn’t know him.
Hay added that he was just sitting along so she grabbed food and went back to eat with him. She added that nobody wants to eat alone and she likes eating with anybody.
