According to Radio Pakistan, PM Sharif met Chaudhry Nisar on Friday and directed him to ensure fool proof security for the side playing in India.
The interior minister informed the Premier on the security pertaining to the team for the mega event which is to be played in India in March this year.
It should be noted that the fate of the Pak-India World T20 match, scheduled to be played at Dharamshala on 19th March, is uncertain after Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbadra Singh refused to host the Pakistani side.
Singh has told Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to either cancel the game or shift it to a different venue.
BCCI officials have assured fool proof security for Pakistani cricket team in the tournament hosted by India.
